Uranus in Gemini part one

This is an experiment.

I have a fake school that’s real, called Invisible College. We study ancient and sacred texts and poetry, and when we’re not in session I make these sort of shitty low production value “podcasts”.

This audio file here is something I made for Invisible College. There are (I think?) two more audio files in this series, as well as a conversation about mimesis, dystopian technocracy, and the womb.

I haven’t really decided what I want to do with this substack yet. There’s a lot of tremendous writing on substack, but I find it a very linear space somehow: writers seem to really know what their beats are, they know what they are doing and for whom they are doing it. I’m not sure what I’m doing or what I want to do with this space.

When I started it , I thought I would write about the uncanny rhymes and patterns that show up in sex and love, but then, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I accidentally fell in love, and I guess partly due to the intense nature of the books I wrote last year , I now feel zero desire to scrutinize, dissect, or expose the love I’m in, “like a patient etherized upon a table” etc etc.

Ennywho, as some of you may know, I have kept an astrological practice since 2012, and went full-time with this work when my disgust with the academy became definitive, in 2015. Whenever there’s a big transit afoot I get lots of anxious questions from friends, students, and clients. Uranus in Gemini is going to be of particular interest, I think, to those of us who toil in language. Thus my experiment with sharing this audio on substack.

If you like it, I’ll share the whole series.

Uranus enters Gemini on 7/7, re-enters Taurus on 11/7, and the definitive start of Uranus in Gemini begins 4/26/26. This is twilight.
